Coping with hard times Some seasons of life are more difficult than others. Hardships and pain abound in waves bigger than we ever thought possible. When life is particularly hard, where do you turn? Girlfriends? Alcohol? Social Media? Chocolate? Our methods of coping with the hard things will be as unique and individual as we … Continue reading When Life Brings You to Your Knees

Your gentle, Fatherly love surrounds my pain and my broken, giving with its surrounding a hope and a peace I dared not rest in before. When God Uses Unconventional Ways to Speak – The Wind

April 26, 2019May 27, 2019 / Aletia Xerri / Leave a comment

The wind in Rome can be fierce and I'm still not used to it. I struggled to sleep after that, listening … Continue reading When God Uses Unconventional Ways to Speak – The Wind

About Me

“Your story is not finished; it is still being written.”

These were the words spoken by God to me through a woman I had just met.

And I speak them to you… God is not finished with us. No matter the pain, trial or hardship we face, our story is still being written. There is life to be lived, stories to be shared, and hope for our futures.

I wrote these words on my body in Italian for an International Women’s Day exhibition we were putting on in Rome. “La tua storia non è finita; si sta ancora scrivendo.”

It was a word that encouraged me deeply and I wanted to share it with you in the hopes it would spur you on — keep changing your world, and cling to the One who makes it all possible.
